Season Operations

Welcome to the SV6 Sports NFL Flag Football League! Our WINTER SEASON runs from Mid-January to Mid-March, with all games held at the Lodi Grape Bowl and Tokay High Stadium. Games are scheduled on Sundays, with some scheduled on Saturday evenings. We will aim at leaving many Sunday mornings free for families to enjoy Sunday mornings prior to a day full of football. There will be no games held on Super Bowl Sunday.

Teams

We organize teams by grade level, ensuring a fair and balanced playing field. This season SV6 coaches will draft teams based on evaluations. Teams are formed with roster sizes ranging from 8 to 11 players, with flexibility based on individual circumstances.

Schedule

For our Winter League teams may practice once during the week at a Lodi Park. Teams will also be given practice time at our game facilities prior to their games. In the past all games have been held on Sundays only. With the leagues size we will be playing some games, under the lights, on Saturday evenings.

Gameplay

Gameplay is exciting and safe, featuring five-versus-five matchups in a non-contact environment. Our field dimensions adhere to NFL Flag standards ( 52 yards long and 25 yards wide), providing an authentic experience for players. Games will consist of two 25 minute halves. We play by a hybrid of NFL Flag rules and SV6 Sports rules, offering an enjoyable experience for all participants.

Fees

Season fees are $189 and are inclusive of NFL Flag licensed jersey, shorts, flags, and other essential equipment. Season concludes with championship games on the final weekend of the season in which champs will be crowned and given Championship Rings.

Additional Program Information

The SV6 Sports Lodi Flag Football program seeks to foster an environment to teach and instruct the principles and techniques of flag football in a safe environment. We encourage all prospective participants to enter at their comfort level and grow their individual skills at their own pace throughout the season. Both male and female participants are welcome!

  • All flag football equipment will be provided. Soft helmets will be available for purchase but not required.

  • It is mandatory that all players wear cleats or athletic shoes.

  • Uniforms, flags and mouthguards are included in the league registration fees.

  • No prior flag football experience is required to participate in the SV6 Sports Lodi Flag Football Program.
